Provide the expected adults and children, event format and food preferences. Agree dish quantities, portions, substitutions and special options with the supplier. The final guest count and its confirmation deadline are set for the particular order.

Separate preferences from a confirmed menu
Start with preferences such as snacks, hot dishes, drinks, vegetarian options or your own idea. These wishes are not a catalogue of available dishes. A proposal should specify actual contents, quantities, permitted substitutions and preparation conditions.
Explain the guests and programme
Give the total guest count and a separate child count where relevant. Explain duration, serving time and any other food at the event. Avoid universal weights or serving quantities: the supplier must confirm an appropriate amount for the selected menu.
Share restrictions for specific confirmation
List ingredient restrictions and food preferences. The supplier must confirm ingredients, possible substitutions and allergen handling. Submitting a form does not confirm that a special menu is safe.
Record the final guest count and service scope before approval. Request an updated menu and quote after changes. Cakes and desserts can be discussed separately so they are not assumed to be part of catering without confirmation.
Prepare your catering enquiry
Share the city, local date and time, guest count and preferences. Emotions seeks a suitable local supplier, then agrees the menu, price and service scope. An enquiry does not book a supplier.
