Choose two designs in your city catalogue and send the manager their links, your guest count, event date and budget with its currency. Ask what size, design details and delivery the quote covers. A starting price is not a confirmed total.

Compare cakes for the same occasion
Similar photos do not guarantee the same size or specification. Compare the designs using the same guest count, occasion, filling preferences and decoration brief. If the product page does not state a weight or serving count, ask the manager to suggest a suitable size.
- Open your city catalogue and save links to two designs.
- State the number of guests and whether other desserts will be served.
- List essential details such as colours, an inscription, figures or reference images.
- Give your budget and currency, then request a complete quote for each option.
Questions to ask about the quote
Ask whether the amount is for a whole cake, a weight or a set. Check what your selected decoration, packaging and delivery to the address would involve. These are questions to clarify a quote, not a statement that separate charges apply.
Some catalogue entries show a starting price; others say “Price on request”. A missing price does not mean zero. The manager confirms the final amount and whether the request can be fulfilled.
A message you can adapt
“I am comparing these two linked designs for 8 guests on 12 December, with a short inscription. My budget is [amount and currency]. Could you suggest the size and design options, and confirm the total including delivery to [address]?” The date and guest count are examples, not a promise of availability or a weight recommendation.
Comparing catalogues across cities or countries
Pattaya, Bangkok and Koh Samui catalogues use THB; Bali uses IDR, Barcelona EUR, Prague CZK, and Nha Trang and Da Nang VND. Choose the recipient city first, then state your budget amount and currency. The catalogue currency does not establish card acceptance or a payment method.
