Choose one main reference, explain which details matter and send the inscription as separate text with the exact name and date. Distinguish essential features from flexible preferences. The manager will confirm what can be made.
In this guide

Make each reference useful
A reference communicates an idea; it does not establish that an exact copy can be made. If you send several images, explain what each contributes: the colour from one, inscription position from another and shape from a third. Mark any details that can be simplified.
- Save a product link from the recipient city catalogue or prepare your main image.
- State the occasion, guest count, colours and shape you have in mind.
- List essential features and acceptable alternatives.
- Ask what is possible for your size, budget and date.
Send the inscription as text
Write the line exactly as you want it, including the name, age, language, capitalisation and punctuation. Avoid asking the manager to infer a spelling from a blurred photograph. For multiple languages, provide the final wording and ask whether it fits the agreed design.
For example: “Happy birthday, Anna!” Clarify whether quotation marks or line breaks are intended. The example is not a record of a completed order.
Design and filling are separate decisions
The image describes appearance; filling information describes ingredients. Choosing a photo does not establish flavour availability or the absence of allergens. List dietary restrictions separately and discuss them before confirming the order.
Open the recipient city catalogue and send the manager a link to your preferred model with your reference. Check filling, size and decoration availability for your particular date.
An inscription and a photo print need different briefs
Pattaya, Bali, Barcelona, Prague, Nha Trang, Da Nang, Bangkok and Koh Samui catalogues include inscription and photo-print examples. These are designs to discuss with the manager; a similar photo in another city does not confirm that it can be recreated for your date.
