For the first enquiry, describe the venue type and whether it is indoors or outdoors. Then agree unloading access, floor and lift, the food area, equipment and working times. Technical requirements depend on the menu and service method and must be confirmed by the supplier.
In this guide
Check venue consent
Ask whether the venue allows an external supplier and what rules apply to food, equipment and staff. Specify indoor or outdoor space, the available area and the venue contact role. General advice is not permission from the venue.
Agree the route from unloading to the table
Share the address through the private enquiry, then clarify unloading, floor, lift and access restrictions. Discuss the food area, work space and storage. Describe available power, water and kitchen facilities accurately. The supplier checks whether they are sufficient for the order.
Review timing and closing tasks
State event times in the venue city. Agree arrival, setup, serving, service end and rental collection separately. Weather arrangements and an outdoor fallback depend on the particular event.
Tell the team when access, times or equipment change after approval. Keep a record of the people responsible and the agreed task version so the quote and schedule can be updated.
Prepare your catering enquiry
Share the city, local date and time, guest count and preferences. Emotions seeks a suitable local supplier, then agrees the menu, price and service scope. An enquiry does not book a supplier.
