Review each quote line: food and drinks, delivery, staff, tableware and cutlery, furniture, equipment, setup and cleanup. A menu does not imply that the other services are included. Additional hours and confirmed charges should also be listed separately.

Ask for an explicit scope
Each item should be marked as included, charged separately or still to be quoted. Unknown services are not free. A phrase such as “full service” does not replace a list of agreed tasks.
| Group | What to check |
|---|---|
| Food and drinks | Dishes, drinks, quantities and substitutions |
| Logistics | Delivery, unloading and rental returns |
| Service | Staff, working time and extra hours |
| Rentals and venue | Tableware, cutlery, furniture, equipment, setup and cleanup |
Assign responsibility
Agree who receives the delivery, sets out food, provides tables and connects equipment. Clarify cleanup and rental returns. Include loss, damage, taxes and fees only where the supplier has confirmed the terms.
Review changes before approval
Compare quote versions when the guest count, menu, time or venue changes. Ask for additional services to be listed individually. Cakes, desserts, balloons and invitations can be separate enquiries. Do not assume a combined package without agreed terms.
Prepare your catering enquiry
Share the city, local date and time, guest count and preferences. Emotions seeks a suitable local supplier, then agrees the menu, price and service scope. An enquiry does not book a supplier.
